The project:
Our client in the banking sector is looking for a Functional Architect – Security to join their team.
Function description:
We are looking to strengthen their team of security architects with a person that will take responsibility for the following topics (exact list may vary with the quarterly agile planning):
- Multichannel components (customer context management)
- Flexible authentication (e.g. between web and mobile channels; integration with the newly acquired bpost bank; cardless onboarding for corporate customers using mobile app)
- Middleware simplification
- Document management, archiving, functional logging
- Portal for employees' applications and integration with content management
- Migration of on-premise applications to a private cloud
Is this you?
- Good working level in Dutch or French
- Fluency in English is essential (both written and spoken)
- IT background is essential
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in IT and security, at least 5 years as an architect
- Solution architecture
- Experience with formal architecture framework and tools
- Experience in Banking or Insurance; otherwise experience in large / multinational organizations
- Autonomy
- Excellent networking with stakeholders, gathering requirements, checking completeness, keeping all stakeholders informed from potential issues and aligned on mitigations. This ability must be visible by meeting deadlines without re-work
- Ability to work in agile at scale organization, agreeing on delivery plans and committing to them
- Ability to clearly articulate architecture choices in English (written & spoken)
