The mission
Our client is looking for a skilled IT Solution Designer to join their team. He/she bridges between the IT team and the business teams for the realization of projects, mono domain and transversal as well.
You are the contact person both within IT and with regards to the other parties involved, from the start to the successful implementation of the project.
Within the agile SAFE model, you work in the program layer and performs epic and feature analysis.
Tasks:
- Defining the functional needs in collaboration with the business experts;
- Outlining the IT Solution Design based on the functional needs
- Challenging / testing the requirements and the proposed solution in order to always arrive at a maximum user-friendly solution while at the same time having an eye for the best technical solution, taking into account the anticipated budget;
- Supporting, directing and supervising the development teams, and monitoring the quality of the delivered implementation;
- Ensure general repetition and go live of the project (normally during weekend) ;
- Taking care of the reporting on the project progress towards the various stakeholders;
- Drawing up and propagating a strategy and vision for the domain, being an internal evangelist for Belfius in the application of new technologies and methods.

- Some experience with Open Systems (java, swagger, xml, API, cloud), BPMN notation and BPMS systems (like jBPM) will be useful.
- Knowledge of the Loans banking domain would be appreciated.
- Practical experience with Agile methodology (SAFE framework).
- Experience with data modelling (CDM, LDM, Sparx as tool, …) will be useful.
