The mission
Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant to help them handle the current workload of different entities for which they provide financial services.
Non-limited overview of the tasks :
- You take care of the processing of incoming and outgoing invoices.
- You assist in the handling of the monthly and quarterly closings.
- You prepare the periodic VAT declarations.
- You control and approve entries made by other staff members (4-eyes principle)
- You help to provide required evidences to ensure audit trails of all postings
- You prepare payments
- You interact with the stakeholders of the concerned entities
- You provide ad hoc support to the Subsidiaries department team members
Is this you ?
- Fluent in Dutch, French and English
- Bachelor or Master degree in economics or similar
- 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in Accounting and Reporting
- Accounting and financial reporting
- Strong MS Office (Excel & Access) skills
- VAT controls and declarations
- Experience with BOB (Megabyte) tools is an asset
- Operational Accounting handling (commercial entities)
- Controlling and reconciliation set-up experience
- Accuracy
