The mission
Our client is looking for a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join their team responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform, together with the implementation of new projects.
The Senior ServiceNow Developer will play an important role in the team and projects they deliver. You will be responsible for the design and development/implementation of ServiceNow’s solutions and provide technical & architectural guidance to high performing peers. You will work with the IT Service Management leadership, IT service owners, process owners and various service delivery groups to develop technical solutions that satisfy the business needs of the client to a high quality.
Other tasks:
- Providing architectural and design oversight to ensure all solutions are fit for purpose and use
- Designing and building technical solutions based on client’s needs and process requirements
- Delivering solutions using Agile software development processes
- Understanding the current “as is processes” and delivering toolset changes based on upcoming process changes
- Taking care of end to end development activities for a specific enhancement or project as an individual contributor
- Ensuring gaps are clearly identified and reported to stakeholders
- Working closely with other resources to meet development deadlines in case of larger projects
- Producing design documents where ever necessary
- Plans project scope and establishes measurable goals
- Establishes the project’s timelines and manages the project, including escalations, to complete the project on schedule and within budget
- Works closely with the ServiceNow Competence Center team manager and all other team members to plan, manage, and deliver projects
- Attends project scrum meetings
- Organizes the project kickoff and process workshop(s)
- Take part in activities through training, testing, go-live, and post go-live support
Is this you ?
- Knowledge of the following modules within ServiceNow: Incident/Problem/Change, CMDB, Discovery, IntegrationHub, Knowledge and Service (Request) Catalog.
- Demonstratable experience in the following: ServiceNow web services & APIs, JavaScript, Flow Configuration, relational databases and Web Technologies
- Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of an organization from all relevant business areas
- Holding a minimum number of ServiceNow certificates: CSA, CAD and CIS ITSM is a must, others are plus.
- Next to this, the candidate should be able to demonstrate a relevant 5-7 years’ experience of working in ServiceNow.
- Working experience in ServiceNow Service Portal
- Ability to interface and develop with JavaScript technologie
- Working understanding of Active Directory, LDAP, OKTA & SSO
- Working knowledge of web applications, networks, protocols and email (SMTP, POP3)
