We are currently looking for an experienced IT Solution Software Specialist to support one of our key clients in the utilities and energy sector. The Mission

You will play a central role in designing, integrating, and optimizing software solutions that enhance efficiency and innovation in the energy sector. Collaborating with technical architects, developers, and business stakeholders, you will ensure the right solutions are chosen, implemented, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the bridge between business needs and technology, ensuring requirements are well understood and translated into solutions.

• Conduct fit-gap analyses: identify what software can deliver out-of-the-box and where custom development is required.

• Translate user stories into clear functional and technical requirements.

• Contribute to the solution architecture and ensure compliance with IT standards (security, technology, integration).

• Oversee software integration into broader IT ecosystems.

• Support RFPs by defining and evaluating technical requirements.

• Occasionally assist with testing critical features to ensure smooth delivery.

Your Profile

• Degree in IT (Bachelor/Master) or equivalent experience.

• Several years of experience in IT product selection (RFIs/RFPs), implementation, and integration.

• Strong background in managing IT projects based on market-standard products.

• Solid knowledge of Agile, Prince2, and project methodologies.

• Proven experience in writing functional designs and specifications.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage equally well with technical teams, stakeholders, and management.

• A proactive, customer-oriented mindset, able to work autonomously in international teams.

• Willingness to travel a few days per month abroad for collaboration with partners.

• Fluency in French/Dutch and English.

• Experience in the electricity or energy sector, or in Asset Management, is a strong advantage.
