This role offers the opportunity to maintain and optimize critical database systems while ensuring high performance and operational excellence.

The Mission

You will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing databases, troubleshooting issues, and supporting daily operations to ensure smooth and secure database performance across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage databases including MS SQL, Oracle, and others.

• Analyze and resolve database-related issues promptly.

• Perform performance troubleshooting and improvements.

• Conduct daily operational checks, including PRTG/Splunk alerts and backup job verifications.

• Collaborate with teams to ensure database reliability, availability, and security.

Your Profile

• Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French is optional.

• Bachelor in IT or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of relevant experience as a DBA.

• Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and RHEL.

• Strong knowledge of Oracle and MS SQL.

• Experience with MariaDB, Postgres, Cassandra is a plus.

• Team player with a proactive, self-starting attitude.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and synthesis skills.

• High degree of autonomy, commitment, and logical reasoning.

• Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
