We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Azure IAM Engineer / Cloud Security Engineer to support one of our clients. This role offers the opportunity to strengthen cloud security governance, implement secure identity models, and drive automation across Azure environments.

The project

Our client is looking for a Senior Azure IAM Engineer / Cloud Security Engineer to manage and optimize access controls, implement RBAC models, and support cloud security operations across multiple teams.

Your responsibilities

Azure IAM & Access Governance

• Collect and analyze existing permissions in Azure (Management Groups, Subscriptions, Resource Groups)

• Remove unwanted inherited permissions from Management Group Root

• Implement secure RBAC role models aligned with business needs

• Monitor privileged role usage (Owner, Global Admin, etc.) and recommend remediation

Automation & Monitoring

• Automate audits and access reviews using PowerShell and Azure CLI

• Monitor and report on Audit Logs for anomalies and security violations

• Collaborate with IAM, Infrastructure & Operations, and security teams to integrate roles into workflows

• Document roles, inheritance rules, and assignment processes

Collaboration & Compliance

• Support cloud security and governance initiatives

• Ensure alignment with organizational policies and multi-team project requirements

Is this you?

• Microsoft SC-300 Certification: Identity and Access Administrator – Must have

• Microsoft SC-104 Certification: Azure Administrator Associate – Nice to have

• Expertise in Azure RBAC, Entra ID, PIM, and custom role management

• Strong automation skills: PowerShell, Azure CLI

• Knowledge of Azure limitations (assignment counts, inheritance, etc.)

• Proven experience in cloud security and access governance

• Ability to work in multi-team environments and manage complex technical projects

• Languages: French C1, English B2

• Autonomous and proactive mindset
