We are currently seeking a Lead Engineer Risk – Compliance Regulatory Reporting to support one of our clients in the banking sector. The Mission

You will be responsible for leading the functional and technical analysis of regulatory reporting projects, ensuring data quality, compliance, and smooth integration into business operations. Working closely with internal teams and external vendors, you will oversee design, development, testing, and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze functional requirements for risk and compliance projects.

• Define and maintain the Corporate, Logical, and Physical Data Models.

• Support the translation of requirements into detailed functional analyses.

• Contribute to the selection and management of external vendors and infrastructure providers.

• Follow up on development activities and ensure alignment with requirements.

• Draft and execute test scenarios; coordinate business testing and report progress.

• Support business teams during testing and manage corrective actions where needed.

• Ensure successful transition to operations, including occasional weekend work.

• Prepare all necessary project documentation.

Your Profile

• Ability to work in environments with diverse technical platforms (Linux, Windows, Oracle, SQL, Cloud).

• Experience managing relationships with infrastructure partners and external vendors.

• Knowledge of PL/SQL, Python, and data virtualization techniques is an advantage.

• Strong understanding of data management and governance principles, especially on Oracle and Big Data technologies.

• Experience with data design, modelling, and integration techniques.

• Motivation and eagerness to learn are key drivers for success.

• Knowledge of credit risk and compliance domains is an asset.

• Curious and analytical mindset, with the ability to challenge business requirements and propose the most adequate functional and technical solutions.
