The project:

Our client in the Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage sector, is seeking an experienced NIS2 Compliance Officer to strengthen their team.

Responsibilities:

NIS2 Governance

• Coordinate the implementation of the NIS2 governance framework.
• Translate regulatory requirements into Business and IT implementation plans.
• Define governance processes, methodologies and operating procedures.
• Ensure alignment between local implementation and Group governance.

Compliance Framework

• Define and maintain the NIS2 compliance methodology.
• Maintain the compliance roadmap and implementation plan.
• Monitor compliance maturity across all NIS2 workstreams.
• Coordinate periodic compliance reviews.

Policy & Standards

• Draft and maintain security policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.
• Ensure documentation complies with regulatory and Group requirements.
• Support the implementation of governance best practices.

Risk & Controls

• Perform NIS2 gap assessments.
• Support IT Risk Assessments.
• Define security control requirements.
• Maintain the NIS2 Control Catalogue.
• Monitor implementation of required controls.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Act as the main point of contact between Business, IT, Security, Compliance and Architecture teams.
• Facilitate workshops.
• Collect Business and IT requirements.
• Coordinate implementation across multiple departments.

Audit & Regulatory Compliance

• Prepare internal and external audits.
• Coordinate evidence collection.
• Monitor audit recommendations and remediation plans.
• Support interactions with regulators.

Reporting

• Monitor implementation progress.
• Produce governance dashboards and compliance KPIs.
• Report NIS2 maturity to senior management.
• Identify improvement opportunities and recommend corrective actions.

Is this you?

• Minimum 5 years in Information Security Governance, GRC or Regulatory Compliance.
• Strong knowledge of NIS2, ISO 27001 and cybersecurity governance.
• Experience implementing governance frameworks.
• Experience defining policies, standards and methodologies.
• Experience conducting compliance assessments and gap analyses.
• Experience coordinating Business and IT stakeholders.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
